WordPress makes it easy to add content, you can use their editor to create content.

The trouble is most people write their content in Word, because it’s their regular writing tool. For most businesses it’s the standard tool of trade, they use it to communicate with.

So what happens, you write your article in Word and save. Then you just copy and paste it to your new WordPress post.

The kind people at Microsoft, want to save you time, so they add a whole bunch of default formatting. That’s great if you’re copying and pasting into another Word Document, but it sucks if you copy it anywhere else.

When you look at the copied text, it looks like you a child in kindergarten to format it for you. Not goog look.

So what happens?

When you copy directly from Word you bring all of Word’s default formatting directly into your WordPress, so you end up with a mess.

Let’s just say Word and html and not close friends. Word wants to dominate everything, so you end up an ugly page.

Now you could take your content copy it and paste it to Notepad and re copy the text to WordPress. It’s not going to happen – most people will forget, because it takes too much time and effort.

Fortunately, WordPress now comes with a simple solution – they have a little button with the Word Symbol on it.

To Copy from Word use the Word button

Now all you have to is click the Word button, and use “Control V” and save

This stripes out all the strange Word default formatting which creates chaos and looks ugly.

Now you have a perfectly laid out post, just as you imagine it would look like.

The function keeps your bold text and Underlines and

• even bullets and puts them in html friendly code.

So now, you can still use Word without worrying how you going to remove all the strange Word formatting issues.
